From Google co-founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, to Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, to inventor, Thomas Alva Edison, many of the world’s greatest innovators have interestingly come from Montessori educations. (Here’s a list of them in case you’re interested) It says a lot about the effectiveness of the method in developing lifelong learners and successful people.
One such Montessori school in the Philippines is The Abba’s Orchard Montessori School, which was founded in 1999. Currently, the school has 13 branches all over the country focused on spreading the Montessori principles.
With their increasing number of campuses comes growing HR and administrative requirements. According to Angelo Barrameda, Managing Director of The Abba’s Orchard, time and attendance and payroll has been one of the most frustrating issues the school encounters. The school’s payroll was prone to error because everything is manual. From their log sheets to leave management, their manual system created an inaccurate and inefficient payroll.

The school is now able to view attendance, leave management, and payslips online while leaving all the heavy payroll work to the PayDay team. According to Angelo, “PayDay fully manages our payroll and even 201 files”, allowing them to focus on the work of educating amazing students.
Angelo had specific praise for the PayDay team assigned to him, including Shen of Onboarding and Dominic of Operations. Despite the adjustments, The Abba’s Orchard knows that their “needs are taken care of” and “it’s highly unlikely that they (Bridge) will not deliver.”
